For years, the Oldsmobile Outdoor Club has been kind of symbolized by our annual outing of 'Winterfest'! Well, your club board of directors would like to expand that camaraderie to include the 2nd annual Summerfest. The 'Summerfest' picnic will be held at the Sleepy Hollow State Park swimming pavilion on Saturday, July 28th.
Although the main picnic will be held on Saturday, we invite all you campers to come on out and campout at the State Park Friday - Sunday. Reservations will be taken by calling 1-800-447-2757 or online by clicking here starting February 1st (you can only reserve 6 months early) and will be on a first come-first serve basis and must be made by each individual family. When making reservations please request that you would like to be in lots 1-54 and if they are full then ask for 55-100 to be with the Olds Outdoor Club.
During the Picnic, food will be served throughout the day which will include: Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and drink. Wrist bands will be given out upon your arrival.
All of the traditional summertime picnic activities are currently being planned for 'Summerfest'. Frisbee, sack races, tug-o-war, children's games, fishing, boating, bon-fires and of course what all of us have become very good at, socializing! We really need your help in making this second 'Summerfest' a huge success, so mark these dates down on your calendar, July 28th, 2007, and come on out and have some summertime fun with other club members.
