Hunter's Safety Courses:

This could easily be one of the most important things we do as Outdoorsman! The club offers any assistance they can to Locals 652, 602, 1753, 1618 during their respective Hunter's Safety Courses. In 1996, the club held its first on their own, with approximately 25 participating in the class. In 1997, there was a large increase to 85 participants. The Oldsmobile Outdoor Club donates a single shot shotgun (Gauge of the winner choice) to be given away to one of the participants between the age of 12 and 16. This is just one of the many ways that we can help promote safe use of firearms to younger sportsman.
